Pepper Chicken is a simple dish that is made very quickly without any prior marination and all. Let's see the ingredients at a glance:
Ingredients:
1 pound chicken
1 medium sized onion
1 bay leaf
1 tsp snauf
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
2 tsp pepper powder
Steps:
1. Heat oil in a pan. Add snauf seeds and bay leaf. In a minute, add ginger garlic paste and saute for 2 minutes.
2. Add chopped onions and saute until it turns light brown.
3. Now add the chicken pieces to it. Add turmeric powder and salt. Mix it well.
4. Add a little water to the pan and close it with a lid. Let it cook for 15-18 minutes on low to medium flame.
5. Check and stir in between so that it doesn't get stuck to the bottom of the pan.
6. The chicken is now almost cooked. Throw in the coriander powder and pepper powder.
7. Mix it well so that chicken gets coated well with pepper powder.
8. Let it cook for 5 minutes and turn off the flame.
9. Pepper chicken is ready to serve. I just had pepper chicken with egg fried rice. It tastes so yum!
