Ever wondered how to make icecream at home when you dont have ice cream churner or not even a electric hand blender. Well, i have made mango icecream without an ice cream machine and without eggs. Of course i did not even have an electric blender with me. I tried to make it with a regular mixie (Preethi mixie) and it turned out to be a perfect ice cream, with no preservatives unlike the store bought ones.

Ingredients:
1 ripe mango
1 cup condensed milk
1 cup heavy whipping cream
15-18 almonds
Steps:
1. Wash and peel the mango skin. Cut the mango into small chunks. Add it to the mixie. Blend it smoothly.
2. Add condensed milk to the mixie. Blend it smooth for a minute.
3. Now, add heavy whipping cream. Blend it for 2-3 minutes until it becomes creamy.

4. Transfer the contents to a plastic container or a pan, you can cover it with a cling wrap and then a foil. The simplest method is to use an old ice cream box. Here I have used ice cream container.
Tip: If you are using a regular pan or a plastic box make sure you cover the pan/box with a plastic cling wrap. Then with a silver foil in order to prevent the ice cream from crystallisation (ice droplets being formed).

5. In the same mixie, add almonds. Grind it coarsely. Add the almonds powder to the ice cream container. Fold it gently.

6. Fold the chopped almonds gently into the ice cream mixture. I have used a fork to mix the contents.

7. Close the lid of the ice cream container and freeze it overnight.
8. Next morning, or after 10 hours you can see the ice cream is being set, without crystallisation.
9. Keep it at room temperature for 10 minutes. It will be easy to scoop out the ice cream.
Alternatively, you can microwave the ice cream container for 30 seconds, if you cannot wait for 10 minutes :)

10. I have used a store bought waffle cone and gonna scoop out the tasty mango ice cream into it.
Look at the texture of the ice cream, it's as good as the store bought ones but healthier than that.
11. I'm gonna enjoy this ice cream cone. What you waiting for !??!! Go and grab the ingredients and start making your own ice cream in this cool way.
