I had a dental surgery yesterday and hence i have stayed away from my blog for the past two days. Also i could only eat yogurt, cheese, pasta and green tea till today. Here I'm going to share a recipe which is also kid friendly. Yes, it is similar to the maggi noodle soup, i have made pasta soup which was and is my saviour since the tooth extraction.
I tried to have bread toast today morning and my gums started aching a lot. I though i could manage to have bread and other soft foods on the second day, alas! pasta is the only option i have got. It takes just 15 minutes for the overall process and tada, you are done with your pasta soup, which is quite easy to swallow with just one side of your mouth.
Ingredients :
1 cup of shell pasta
2 cups of water
1 cup of milk
3 tbsp cheddar cheese or any other cheese of your choice
Salt to taste
1 tsp oil
Pepper to taste
How to make pasta soup:
1. In a sauce pan add 2 cups of water, oil and salt. Bring it to a boil. Then add shell pasta.

2. Cook on high flame for 8 minutes till it cooks well as we need to have a soupy consistency.

3. You can follow the packet instructions for al dente too. But it's not likely to be good for the soup.

4. Add milk to the pasta and let it cook for 5-6 minutes.

Tip: the water or the milk need not evaporate completely. Let there be liquid part in the pasta.
5. Once the shell pasta is cooked well, add shredded cheddar cheese 🧀. Stir once and switch off the flame.

6. Transfer the soupy pasta into a serving bowl. Top it with pepper and some grated cheese and serve hot! I'm sure kids wil empty the bowl in no time as i did today :)
