Bread pizza 🍕

Pizza is most sought after Italian food in many parts of the world. Not only that, it justs helps us in clean eating without the need for many utensils or even fork and knife. In most of the office lunch meetings, pizza is provided as meal since it is easy to serve and eat as well.

Today i'm gonna share the simplest recipe of making bread pizza at home without the need of an oven or microwave. Yes, we can make it using a tawa or skillet or a pan. Wheat bread is preferred as it might not get easily burnt while we cook the bread for 5-6 minutes on low flame with a lid.


3 slices of white or wheat bread 🍞
3 tbsp of shredded cheese, any type
1/4 cup of pitted black olives
Salt to taste
4-5 button mushrooms 🍄
1/2 cup green bell peppers
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
2 tsp butter

How to make bread pizza:

1. Heat a pan and add a tsp of butter. Add chopped mushrooms and green bell peppers. Sprinkle some salt and sauté till the mushrooms shrink and turn light brown.

2. Once the mushrooms and bell peppers are cooked enough (but not overly cooked) remove from the flame and keep it aside.

3. Then heat a clean pan and add a tsp of butter on high flame.

4. Once the butter starts to melt reduce the flame to low and add the bread slices.

5. Then add generous amount of shreds cheese to each of the slices.

Tip: you can use any cheese like Swiss cheese, American cheese, cheddar cheese, mozzarella etc. I have used cheddar cheese here.

6. Now add the raw chopped onions on top of cheese.

7. Then add sautéed mushrooms and bell peppers.

8. Add pitted olives.

9. Finally add little bit of cheese over the vegetables. Cover the bread pizza with lid and cook on low flame 5-6 minutes or until the cheese starts to melt.

10. When you see the cheese melting, remove the bread pizza from the flame. You can optionally top it with dried oregano leaves to get that typical pizza flavor.

11. Serve the bread pizza while it is hot and enjoy!

12. I had the bread pizza with a glass of milk for my breakfast.
