Vanilla Chia pudding

Vanilla/Soy chia pudding is one of those healthiest drinks one can have either as a breakfast supplement or anytime during the day. It's full of nutrients and helpful for brain development and also to keep our tummy fit by helping us to digest easily and reducing our body weight. Chia seeds are rich in omega 3 fatty acids which is also abundantly found in fish, avocado, flax seeds etc.



One most common way of using chia seeds in our daily routine is to soak the seeds in a bottle full of water and consume it at regular intervals instead of plain water. It really helps in cooling down our body and bringing down the weight at the same time. Try it out to see the amazing results by yourself. Ingredients:

2 tbsp + 1 tsp chia seeds
1 glass of soy milk or almond milk
1 tsp of vanilla essence
1 tsp honey or sugar

How to make vanilla chia pudding:

1. In a bowl, soak 2 tbsp of chia seeds in enough water for atleast 6 hours or overnight.



2. To a mixer or a food processor, add soaked chia seeds. Then add soy milk or almond milk or plain milk.



3. I have bought soy milk from Trader Joe's and i absolutely love it as compared to other brands.



4. Add vanilla essence.



5. Add honey or sugar as per your preference.



6. Blend all the ingredients well.



7. Pour it to a tall serving glass.



8. Top it with a tsp of raw chia seeds.



9. Finally top it with any chopped nuts. I have used chopped almonds.



10. Serve it cold. It's rich in omega 3 fatty acids and serves as a healthy drink for people of all ages.
