Raspberry lemonade

Raspberries are a good source of fibre, vitamin C,E & K. They are also rich in omega 3 fatty acids! With all these nutrient information given, would you refuse to drink a raspberry lemonade after heavy meals or just as a thirst quencher during summer days ?!!?? I could hear a big YEAH from you :)

Well, then we shall move to see how to prepare this really cool drink at our home with just raspberries, half lemon, sugar or honey and sparkling water. These are the basic list of ingredients on which you can just play around by adding few more ingredients.  To cool down our body a bit and to increase the effect of our digestive system, i just have topped the raspberry lemonade with soaked chia seeds. They just look awesome on the drink and also tastes so damn good.


10-12 raspberries
1 tsp lemon juice
4-5 ice cubes
1 tsp sugar or honey
1 tbsp chia seeds, soaked overnight in enough water
1 cup of sparkling water or club soda or plain water

How to prepare raspberry lemonade:

1. Wash the raspberries in running water and add it to a blender or mixer.

2. Then add a tsp of freshly extracted lemon juice.

3. To that add a tsp of sugar or honey, as per your preference.

4. Blend it altogether nicely.

5. Add a cup of sparkling water or club soda or just plain water.

6. Pour it onto a serving glass or mason jar or wine glass of your choice.

7. Add few ice cubes, few raspberries.

8. Soak the chia seeds in 1/2 cup of water for atleast 8 hours.

9. Add the soaked chia seeds to the raspberry lemonade.

8. Serve the raspberry lemonade cold and enjoy your summer.
