Chicken roast is basically a chicken half breast coated with Indian spice powders and broiled on high in the oven for about 20 minutes.

Then flip it and broil on high for another 20 minutes or until it is done on bothe sides. Let's see the ingredient list and stepwise pictures.


Ingredients:
Chicken half breast piece - 1
1 tsp red chilli powder
3/4 tsp garam masala powder
salt to taste
2 tsp cooking oil or olive oil
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp greek yogurd or hung curd, basically thick curd without water
a pinch of red or orange food color, optional
How to make spicy chicken roast:
1. Clean and wash the chicken half breast piece.

2. To that cleaned chicken piece, add red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, salt, red food color and greek yogurt.

3. Mix the masala well and coat the chicken piece thoroughly with the masala.

4. Let the marinated chicken sit in refrigerator for 45 minutes.

5. Add a tsp of cooking oil, vegetable or olive oil on one side of the chicken.

6. Then flip and add another tsp of oil and coat it well.

7. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about 20 minutes. Meanwhile place the marinated chicken onto a baking tray or foil. You can add any veggies of your choice. I have used Asparagus today.

8. Broil the chicken on high for 20 minutes.


9. After 20 minutes of broiling on high, flip the chicken piece and broil for another 20 minutes on high.



10. Spicy chicken roast is ready!

11. Serve the chicken roast as a starter or lunch and enjoy!
