Smoothies are well packed with energy fruits like berries and milk. It's definitely a mid morning drink or even can be your morning breakfast complement to energize you for the rest of your day.

Today, we shall see the mixed berry smoothie using cold milk - you can use yogurt too instead of milk to get that thick texture.

Ingredients:
1 cup of mixed berries -strawberries, blueberries, blackberries
2 tsps of cane sugar or honey
1.5 cups of full fat milk
Whipped cream - optional
Few Ice cubes - optional

How to make berry smoothie:
1. Wash the berries thoroughly with water and add it to a blender or food processor.

2. Add a little bit of milk and sugar.

Tip: I’m using cold milk and so not addding ice cubes. If you are using milk at room temperature, then add ice cubes. For smoothie or milk shakes, hot milk should not be used as it curdles the milkshake.
3. Add milk and blend until smooth.

4. Pour it to a serving glass and enjoy.

5. Top it with whipped cream - you can skip this step if you do not have whip cream.

6. Enjoy this cold drink on a sunny day morning!
