Sesame Chicken Noodles


Sesame chicken noodles is a continental dish and can be easily prepared with any plain or egg noodles. I used boneless chicken with skin on, you can used skinless chicken for the best chicken noodle recipe. It is just my personal choice to add the skin-on as that is the way i prefer chicken.



All you need for this recipe should be readily available at home except for the spring onions. I dont think most of us stock spring onions on a regular basis. Other than that, every other ingredient should be available in our kitchen pantry. Do try out this recipe and share your valuable feedback. Happy Cooking 😊😊😊



Ingredients:

150 grams of boneless chicken, skinless preferred
1 bunch of spring onion with greens
1 cup cooked hakka noodles, as per packet instructions
1 tbsp cooking oil
1 tsp black pepper powder
1 medium sized onion,  thinly chopped
1 tsp soy sauce
3 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 tbsp green chilli sauce
1 tsp sugar
salt to taste
1 tsp vinegar
2 tsbp white sesame seeds
1/2 + 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
2 tbsp chopped spring onion greens

Clean and wash the chicken pieces thoroughly.



Add ginger garlic paste, pepper powder, soy sauce to the chicken pieces.



Mix well and let it sit for 10 minutes.



Heat wok with cooking oil till smoking hot.



Add onions and saute for 3 minutes.



Add marinated chicken pieces.



Cook on medium flame for about 8-10 minutes till they are cooked. Prefer to use small pieces so that they get cooked quickly.



Add cooked noodles(as per packet instructions). Toss it well.



Add green chilli sauce, tomato ketchup and salt.

Add vinegar.



Add sugar.



Add black pepper powder.



Finally add spring onion greens, Toss the noodles on high flame for about a minute.



Sprinkle some roasted white sesame seeds over the chicken noodles and give it a final toss before switching off the flame.



 Tada! Yummy sesame chicken noodle is ready.
