Butter Garlic Prawns

Prawns are one of the seafood that gets cooked faster and can be made as a dish when you have less time in hand but still want to prepare a yummy food. I had only 10 minutes to prepare a side dish for my today's lunch and had prawns in hand. So just tried this butter garlic prawns which turned out to be awesome.

stir fry shrimp 


8-9 medium sized prawns
4 garlic pods
2 tsp butter
1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
a pinch of turmeric
salt to taste


Clean and wash the prawns.

Heat a pan on medium flame and add butter.

Add finely chopped garlic and saute for a minute.

Then add the prawns.

Add a pinch of turmeric powder.

Add salt.

Stir fry till the prawns are thoroughly cooked.

Here you can see the prawns have shrinked in size.

And slightly browned on both sides.

Finally add chopped coriander leaves.

Mix it thoroughly. 

Switch off the flame.

Tada! Butter garlic prawns are ready to devour :)
