Recently i have got a big box of hershey's unsweetened cocoa powder and in pursuit of putting it to good use, i made this chocolate recipe with milk powder and milk. It turned out perfect in taste just the same way like cadbury's Dairy Milk silk chocolate. Any cadbury lover ? My toddler loves cadbury's chocolates and that is also a major reason as why i made an attempt for this recipe.

Ragi chocolate cake
Chocolate pancake with raspberry syrup
Chocolate dipped strawberries
molten chocolate lava cake
Here is the list of ingredients.
1 cup milk powder
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup butter
Steps:
In a mixing bowl, take one cup of milk powder.
Then add sugar.
Then add cocoa powder.
Add milk.
Mix well using a whisk or fork, without any lumps.
The batter should be of dosa batter consisteny.
Grease a plate with butter and keep it aside.
Heat a non-stick pan on medium flame. Add the chocolate batter.
Get ready for non-stop stirring for about 20 to 25 minutes.
Add butter.
The batter slightly starts to thicken.
Keep stirring as the consistency becomes like pancake batter.
In another 6-7 minutes, the batter becomes a semi-solid.
Stirring is the key, to get a soft melt in mouth chocolate.
In about 20 minutes, the batter becomes so thick.
Now, you can see the chocolate batter comes together as a single mass. Switch off the flame.
Finally it has come to chapati dough/roti dough consistency. Keep stirring the dough with no heat, for about 3-4 minutes to get a softer version of the chocolate.
Then pour the batter onto the greased plate.
Spread it across using a spatula or butter knife.
Once it cools down a bit and is still little warm, cut into desired shapes.
Here I have just made square shapes. Look at the texture, how silky it is!
Last step, cutting into square shapes.
Serve the chocolate immediately to your kids and family.
This homemade chocolate is my absolute favorite and tastes just like Dairy milk silk chocolate.
