Koftas are in my long pending post list and finally got the time to make malai koftas today for my breakfast as a side dish for the rotis. I used freshly made paneer using full fat cream milk and the koftas tasted amazing.

This dish is indeed a kid/toddler friendly recipe as it has the subtle taste of the spice powders along with potatoes, bread crumbs and paneer (cottage cheese).

Here is a list of snack recipes from my blog - do check it out for easy peasy steps:
Cauliflower bajji
Veg Puff
Fruit Pizza
Red rice dumplings
Gulab Jamun
Ingredients:
2 medium sized boiled potatoes
200 gms of crumbled paneer
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
salt to taste
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
2 slices of bread (bread crumbs can be used )
1 tsp crushed kasoori methi leaves
2 tbsp oil/ghee for frying
Steps:
To a mixing bowl, add paneer, bread slices, potatoes, salt, spice powders.

Crumble the ingredient well and mix it thoroughly. Add dried fenugreek leaves (kasoori methi).

Mix well and make round shapes(koftas).

Prepare koftas with the rest of the mix.

Heat an appe pan and add oil or ghee.

Once the oil gets heated, gently add the koftas.

Cook for 4-5 mins on medium flame.

Flip over and drizzle some oil/ghee and cook till done.

Cook on all sides and make sure it's all evenly browned.

Tada! dry malai koftas are ready.

You can serve it as snack for your kids with some ketchup or mint-yoghurt dip.
